Russian caravans brought silk, exotic spices and tea to Europe. Wood fires lit on many a cold night gave the tea its characteristic smoky note. We blend a crisp Lapsang Souchong with Assam and Keemun for a tea that could have been brewing in the samovars of Czar Nicholas!
